The London Classics Medal in all it's glory

The London Classics

Can you conquer the London Classics?

Do you have what it takes to tackle one of the UK’s greatest mass participation challenges?

London Marathon Events has brought together the London Marathon, the world’s greatest cycling festival, RideLondon, and the inspirational open-water swimming event, Swim Serpentine, to create the London Classics, one of the world’s great sporting challenges.

To conquer the London Classics , you must complete all three of the following events:

  • The London Marathon
  • The RideLondon 100-mile cycling sportive
  • The Swim Serpentine two-mile swim

There is no time limit on when you complete these events and they can be done in any order.

If you finish this iconic trio, you'll receive a much-coveted London Classics medal engraved with the Latin words 'Et ego 'Londinium vici', meaning 'I too have conquered London'. You'll also be listed in the London Classics Hall of Fame.
