The table below shows the classifications and qualifying times athletes must achieve to meet the eligibility criteria to apply for a place in the TCS London Marathon elite wheelchair races. If you are eligible, you should apply for a place through your National Federation.

UK athletes and non-invited elite athletes

If you are a qualified UK athlete or an athlete in the T51, T52, T53 and T54 classes who has not been selected by your national federation, or if you have an elite athlete invitation, you are eligible to take part in the TCS London Marathon wheelchair races.

To apply for an elite wheelchair place in the 2025 TCS London Marathon, please email paraathletes@londonmarathonevents.co.uk.

Please note:

• all participants in the in the T51/T52 or T53/54 competitions must use a racing wheelchair approved under World Para Athletics rules
• no handcycles are permitted
• all participants must have a national classification
